Downtown St. Louis Engagement | Tanya + Ross

“We were driving to a wedding in Cincinnati. About an hour or so into the drive, he pulls over on the interstate. I’m completely clueless and ask why. He responds with “I have to get something out of the trunk.” He then comes around to my side of the car opens the door and gets on one knee and proposes. At the time I didn’t realize a song that has a lot of meaning to both of us came on and that’s the reason for pulling over when and where he did. The song was “Heaven” by Kane Brown which of course will be our first dance.”

“We met at a local bar that I didn’t want to go to. I had no intention on meeting my friend there but ended up changing my mind. Wow, am I so happy I did!”

“Before the shoot, I was nervous about my dress. Thinking it was too much. That it was more revealing than I’m used too. In the end the dress was amazing in the photos!”

“Everything was perfect for our shoot. Our most memorable moments probably were the hotel shots in St. Louis. How amazing they turned out! Oh, and our second outdoor shoot was something thrown together last minute and they were just as beautiful! Climbing down into the creek for our final shots was memorable as well.”

“During our reveal I felt so emotional. We were stunned at how beautiful and creative our pictures looked. I also thought about how I adore this man I’m going to marry and the way we look together showed it in every photo. My connection with him was captured in so many shots!”

“The advice we would give to other couples is to have fun & relax. Listen to Dawn! Lol. Go out of your norm!”

Tanya and Ross are planning an October 2019 wedding at The Weingarten in Belleville, IL.
