I am currently a senior at Seckman High School and dual enrolled pursuing my Associate of Arts Degree at Jefferson College. After I graduate, I plan to attend a four year university and obtain a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering. Having a career in the space industry and leading NASA space missions are my goals.

I am a competitive swimmer and have been on the same USA swim team for over 10 years. Most of my friendships and happy memories are connected with this sport that I love so much. My love of swimming and the water has extended into other areas of my life as well. During the summer I have taught swim lessons and worked as a lifeguard at the local rec center, and I love to travel with my family, especially to beach destinations. This summer we traveled to Hawaii and spent time on two beautiful beaches where we snorkeled and I learned to paddle board. I think swimming will always be a part of my life.

My photo session with Dawn was fun because it was a relaxing day that was all about me. As a competitive swimmer, I am in the pool 15 plus hours per week. There is not much time outside of school and swimming to pamper myself. From the very beginning of the day when I was getting my hair and makeup professionally done to the end of the photo shoot when random people on the street mistook me for a model, I felt glamorous!

I didn’t really have any special plans for my senior shoot. I was really open to letting Dawn’s creative vision happen, and I am so glad that I did. Under her direction, I felt comfortable letting my style and personality come to life. I was blown away by the end result and couldn’t wait to share my images with my family and friends. Many thanks to DCCP for making me feel so special and giving me a day that I will always remember.
