If you’re searching for a St. Louis wedding venue that feels timeless, romantic, and elevated, Katie and Carson’s wedding at The McPherson is the perfect inspiration. Their February celebration blended classic elegance with a rich evergreen design palette, creating a wedding day that felt both luxurious and deeply personal.

From the moment guests arrived, the tone was set with white florals, deep hunter green accents, and natural evergreen textures woven throughout the space. Juniper berries and lush greenery added depth and movement to the design, giving the entire day a refined winter atmosphere without feeling heavy or seasonal in a limiting way.

The McPherson continues to be one of my favorite venues to photograph in St. Louis because of how beautifully it supports both modern and classic wedding styles. Its clean architecture, warm light, and flexible layout allow every design choice to stand out — and Katie and Carson’s evergreen vision truly shined in this space.

Katie and Carson leaned into a color palette of crisp white and deep hunter green, accented by textured greenery and organic elements. Their florist, Walter Knoll, created arrangements filled with evergreen branches, soft white blooms, and natural movement that complemented the venue perfectly. Small details like juniper berries and layered greenery tied everything together and made the design feel intentional from start to finish.
The result was a wedding that felt romantic, editorial, and timeless — the kind of aesthetic that never goes out of style and photographs beautifully in every season.

One of the biggest reasons couples choose The McPherson is how effortlessly it photographs. The ceremony space offers a clean, elegant backdrop that works with nearly any color palette, while the reception space feels both intimate and grand. Whether you’re planning a winter wedding like Katie and Carson or something in spring or fall, this venue adapts beautifully to your vision.
Throughout the day, we focused on capturing both the quiet emotional moments and the elevated details that made their wedding unique — from the ceremony and portraits to the reception atmosphere and dance floor energy.
