Hello, my name is Megan Krygowski. I was born and raised in the Chicagoland area and recently moved down to southern Illinois with my boyfriend last year. Here are a few things about myself. I am a very happy, optimistic person, and I always see the glass half full. I believe that everyone has the potential to do anything that they set their minds to. Also, being happy is the best medicine. Oh, and “too much” makeup is not enough makeup!

I also have many passions such as interior design, fashion, art, hair, makeup, and photography. My journey to where I am today wasn’t easy and here’s why. I started my schooling at a community college in Chicago and majored in art. As I was going to school I realized what my true passion was… beauty! I then stopped my schooling and went to a cosmetology school in Chicago named John Amico School of Hair Design.

As I was going to school part time I worked two jobs waitressing and assisted at a salon in my home town. So I was working almost 50 hours a week on my feet. Therefore, it was difficult but I wanted a career in the beauty industry so I knew I had to push through. So when it came to my graduation day, the owner of my school, John Amico himself, asked me to work for him at his salon in Chicago and I said yes.
