Q. Tell us all about your story. Who you are, high school experience, plans for your future.*

A. My name is Ava Paul and I have a very diverse personality. I love watching the sunrise, fishing, hiking, and anything outdoors. I’ve been playing varsity lacrosse all throughout high school and it’s one of my favorite distractions. Spending time with my friends and family is the most important thing to me right now, and I strive to be the best version of myself so that I’m the best role model for my little brother and sister. Although I love working out or getting dirty outside, find dressing nice and going out equally enjoyable. My high school experience at Belleville West blessed me with so many amazing memories once I learned to stop caring about what other people thought of me. I’ve had a lot of personal growth during these past few years and it’s helped shape me into the more confident version of myself that I am today. I have many different interests but i haven’t decided a lot about my future. I am currently working as a pharmacy technician, and I am considering perusing a job in that field. I’m also very interested in psychology, and business, so I have a lot of decisions to make soon. Although I’m not sure where I’ll end up, as long as I’m surrounded by people I love I know I’ll be happy.

Q. Tell us all about your experience with DCCP. (Minimum 2 paragraphs, how you felt, favorite parts, how you felt when you saw your final images)*

A. Incredible is an understatement when describing my experience with DCCP. Dawn and Joe really helped me express a different side of myself and encouraged me to let loose. They made the entire experience so enjoyable and every smile on my face in my pictures was genuine. My favorite parts of my shoot were how much they made an effort to connect with me on a personal level to make me comfortable, we have so many inside jokes behind every picture taken that made it such a memorable experience. Before the shoot I was nervous that I wouldn’t look or feel good, but once I had my hair and makeup done by the amazing stylist that they provided, I was so ready to get started. After only meeting Dawn and Joe once I felt so welcomed by their presence and excited to hopefully shoot with them again. Seeing my images in the end was the best part of it all, they captured my personality so well and emphasized my best features. Not only did I have so much fun, but I got gorgeous pictures that my family and I will keep forever. I’m beyond grateful for the experience that I had at DCCP.

Q. Now we would like to hear from a parent! Tell us about your experience with DCCP. (Minimum 2 paragraphs, favorite parts, how you decided to book with us, how you felt when you saw your child’s images, advice for other parents)*

A. Our experience with Dawn and Joe was nothing short of Amazing! We didn’t really know what to expect, and we didn’t need to. From hair, make up, wardrobe to location, Dawn had it figured out.  Our Senior Shoot in STL exceeded our expectations! Ava felt like a Super Model for sure, it was such soooo much fun, Dawn and Joe are a super team! STL needs to get you on the books, you brought beauty and a super cool edge to all of the photos!  When I sat down to view these amazing images I was in awe, and the entire experience was very enjoyable. Thank you Dawn and Joe for bringing it all together.
