We were so excited to welcome Sophia from O’Fallon High School to our DCCP Top Model Team for this season. She is hard working, beautiful, friendly, and has a style all her own. We launched her DCCP experience with us by shooting a 70’s themed shoot featuring a boho walk through the flowers, a trip to my old neighborhood to visit The Belleville Skatepark, and a vintage car adventure outside of our favorite ice cream stop, White Cottage.

“My first shoot as a DCCP Top Model was a day to remember! I have no previous experience doing anything like this and I was definitely nervous to start. After hair and makeup we went to a field covered in beautiful wildflowers just outside of Belleville West High School. I felt stiff and awkward at the beginning; however, after guidance from Dawn I began spinning around to make my dress flare out and posing for different angles. I had so much fun!” -Sophia

“We then went to a completely different location, a skatepark covered in graffiti. Tons of skaters were there that day that were unsure about how they felt about me on their turf. They warmed up to us quickly and some of the skaters were even eager to show off their tricks for us. Eventually one even ended up jumping over me on his board! I was terrified, but kept my cool. It ended up being one of my favorite pics from the entire day.” -Sophia

“We also visited an ice cream shop and other vintage buildings around Belleville to get some shots with a 70’s vibe. I want to thank DCCP for a fantastic experience and being so supportive during the entire process. We were crazy stunned when viewing the pictures during the big “reveal.” I wasn’t expecting how bright the colors were and how some really random locations looked like a movie set. Overall it was one of the most fun and one of the best learning experiences ever. I can’t wait to spend the next two years on the DCCP Top Model Team!” -Sophia

“After our great experience with Dawn and Joe for our son Matthew’s Prom photo’s we knew we always wanted Dawn to use her magic and create ever lasting memories of our daughter Sophia. “Sophia’s first shoot and Dawn nailed it! Her photo’s are creative and unexpected. We were excited to see the random skater jumping over Sophia in a local skate park, that is definitely one of our favorites! But to be honest how can you choose?
