Senior Kylee Villavicencio | Troy High School

My name is Kylee Villavicencio and I started my senior high school career at Triad High School. I transitioned to SWIC for my junior and senior year in a program called Running start. I am expected to graduate in my May 2021 with my high school diploma and associates degree. My high school/college experience was very exciting. I grew so much over these years. I will be transferring to a university to study early education.

My overall experience with DCCP was very amazing. There was lots of fun and laughter. Before the shoot I was very nervous the pictures would not turn out well. I did not expect to be able to pose right. Dawn, Joe, and Jessica made me all feel very comfortable. They kept encouraging me and telling me I look very pretty.

When I saw the final results, I was so ecstatic!

They turned out so amazing! Shooting the photos and looking at the final product was just an experience I did not think would be that fun and exciting. I thought I was going to be shy and an introvert. Wow, I was wrong! Everyone just made me feel very beautiful and welcomed.

I chose Dawn Corwin Creative Photography initially 5 years ago for my oldest daughter, Brianna’s senior pictures. I have known Dawn for decades and had absolute confidence she would deliver fun, classy, elegant and cutting edge photos. My advice to others is to bring multiple outfits, shoes, accessories and stay out of Dawn’s way… she has this handled! -Kylee’s Mom

The day of the shoot began with my daughter being pampered as Jessica (the makeup artist and stylist) enhanced Kylee’s natural beauty. They built her confidence with every compliment. After Kylee was dressed and ready to go, we jumped in the car off to her first shoot location. We followed behind Dawn and Joe to the unknown… we had given Dawn a few ideas of the type of senior pictures Kylee wanted, but other than that, we let Dawn work her magic! -Kylee’s Mom

I watched her glow with confidence and a smile that would light up any room.

The first location was a diamond in the rough, in downtown STL. We walked up to this bridge for the first shot. I stepped back and allowed myself to take in this moment with my daughter. I watched her glow with confidence and a smile that would light up any room. After many outfit changes and locations our day came to an end. -Kylee’s Mom

We waited a short while and received an email that her pictures were ready to view! We met for the ordering session the next day. Kylee and I sat there as the anticipation was building. Then we saw her pictures. They were impressive! Simply perfect! Dawn and Joe once again out did themselves! Thank you capturing these precious moments in our lives. -Kylee’s Mom
