We were so excited to have the Viglasky family back into our studio for Dalton’s Senior pictures. Dalton is a Senior that graduated from Belleville West this year and is now serving in boot camp in the U.S. Army.
Dalton had the opportunity to play football in the Blue-Grey All-American Bowl in Tampa, and he was also selected to play in an international football game in Australia.
We also had the opportunity to meet Dalton’s girlfriend during his shoot, and couldn’t help getting a few shots of this cute couple! Cybil Kernan graduated from Belleville West this year and is now attending McKendree University.
Some of my favorite shots of the day were shot in the alley behind the Thaxton Speakeasy. If you are looking for an event venue, this place is a gem in St. Louis. We totally recommend checking it out.
Most of the time when boys come to DCCP, they just aren’t into having their photograph taken. They usually are brought by Mom and think that it is going to be an unpleasant experience. I see this as an opportunity to shine because I love a challenge! Dalton was no different, but by the time we finished his wardrobe consultation, and got him posed out in the streets of the city, we had a real model on our hands! *humble brag*
His tux shots are fantastic and just prove our theory that you can’t overdress for a DCCP shoot. (and who can deny those white shoes? They were everything!) Huge thanks to the Magnolia Hotel for letting us take a few shots of this handsome guy at their downtown St. Louis location.
“Dalton’s senior year flew by and was packed with a lot exciting opportunities. He played in an all American Football game in Tampa, he was selected to play in an international football game in Australia, and he chose to enlist in the Army. As his senior year come to a close I realized I failed to get his senior pictures. I knew there was only one person that I could trust to take such special pictures of Dalton. I knew Dawn and Joe at DCCP would capture Dalton’s personality as they did for my daughter 6 years ago. The day of Dalton’s photo shoot I watched as Dawn and Joe brought Dalton out of his comfort zone and made him feel as if he owned the camera. It was a memory neither of us will forget. Dalton is now in boot camp, and the pictures that Dawn took give me so much comfort. Thank you to DCCP you ROCK!!” -Jodi (Dalton’s Mom)
