My name’s Scott, and I’m a senior at Belleville East High School. My favorite classes have been the Construction and Science courses. I’ve had the privilege of learning from experienced carpenters. We built the softball concession stands and locker rooms, something that will serve a valued purpose at the school for years to come. I’ve especially enjoyed the science department’s teaching strategies, which made the classes fun and challenging. In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with friends, taekwondo, airsoft, and video games. After graduation, I plan to go on to college.

“We decided to give DCCP a shot because we had seen their senior banners out in front of their studio. I especially liked the image of the young man modeling as 007. Due to my interests in airsoft and taekwondo, I wanted something fun and unique to capture my interests. They were open to ideas and did an excellent job incorporating my vision into their plans for the day. The day of the shoot, I found it hard to stop smiling when they wanted me to present that serious look. I really enjoyed it.” -Scott

“My favorite part of the day was when we got to the ‘action’ images. They were very patient in their efforts to capture just the right moment and create natural effects using the surroundings. We went to a part of St. Louis I’ve never seen before. All of the images were great! I never imagined they would come out so well.” -Scott

“Selecting a professional photographer to capture a significant milestone in a young person’s life is a big deal. We knew when we set out to make this important decision that we wanted something a little out of the ordinary, something that would make it special and memorable for our Senior Scott. Our primary objective was not to get a stock photo. Our objectives were more grandiose than that. We wanted artistic creativity and flexibility to think outside the box. Once we met the DCCP Team we were confident we had chosen wisely. DCCP helped us every step of the way. Before we knew it, the big day had arrived and we were just along for the ride. The shoot itself was like hanging out with really good friends, who also happened to be really talented photographers. We all had fun with it!” -Scott’s Mom

“The day of the big reveal was an exciting one for everyone. Pictures are like presents. You are not quite sure what you’re going to get, but you know its going to be good. DCCP didn’t let us down. We loved the slide show and all the photos. We will be back to work with them again in the future.” -Scott’s Mom

The evening after our session with Scott his Mom sent me this note and my heart melted. This is why we do what we do: 

“Good evening Dawn! I wanted to say thank you for today. I’m certain you got some amazing photos of my son, but I wanted to say thank you for something else. I got to spend half a day with my eldest son, watching him genuinely smile and enjoy himself as you and your husband made him feel really great about himself. He looked great! We made the right decision coming to you guys. Scott is super excited to see the results too. Especially the airsoft photos.
